one-off at the wrist

Ink 2009

Had this one on the shelf for months waiting to be watched. A really good indy movie that punches above its weight. Think Gilliam’s Tideland meets del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth meets Alex Proyas’ Dark City via way of Neil Gaiman. A lovely little dreamy fable that I am sure could make for an excellent dark fairy tale for grownups TV series?

“An invisible world exists underneath our own. While the physical realm sleeps,  ethereal ‘Storytellers’ roam the night planting happiness in the dreams of humanity. Trailing behind are the malicious Incubi who instil fears, jealousies and night terrors into their victims.”
