one-off at the wrist

cover art

Unfortunately there are only so many upcycled vinyl clocks you can have; no matter how clever they are now getting.

To be honest I am very surprised that Vinyl [and the still useable size CD frontage; though in a different way] cover art [along with book cover art] have not become more mainstream available collectable items in their own right, especially now we have downloadable/self-print options. After all there are usually produced by artists.

Many older works [and even some newer ones] are certainly worth seeking out just for the design/visuals of the packaging. Numerous sites and even books list their choice of the best. I must admit I did spend hours in my teens in the local Woolies checking out the latest cover art and the poster rack.

In fact the area is too interesting to not start a separate LP art page.
