Running 2013

Simple running aims this year, as now concentrating on getting marathon time down [as well as shorter distances; as no ‘official’ Ultras planned for 2013].


  • Start timing all runs again.
  • Start speedwork again.
  • Janathon Challenge – run every day in January.
  • 90 minute Half Marathon in the Spring.
  • sub 3:30 Marathon in the late Spring.
  • Pace 70 year old father to 1:47 Half Marathon course record in June.
  • A couple of ‘longer’ runs in the Summer.
  • sub 20 minute 5K in the Summer.
  • Start training for 2014 Ultras in mid Autumn.
  • 3:20 Marathon in late Autumn.
  • Movember Milo Miles challenge in November.
  • Solstice Slog in December.
  • Run over 5,000 km.
  • Continue to develop as a running coach.
  • Continue to help grow my running club.
  • Work HARD but have FUN.
